Losing a pet is hard enough. Having to figure out the practical details — often within hours — makes it even harder. One of the first questions many Negros families ask us is: “How much will this cost?”
It’s a completely valid question, and we want to answer it as honestly and clearly as we can.
How Pet Cremation is Priced
In the Philippines, pet cremation is typically priced based on your pet’s weight. The larger the pet, the more the service costs. This is standard across most pet aftercare providers, including Green Meadows.
You won’t find a flat rate that applies to every animal — a small hamster and a large Labrador require very different amounts of time, care, and resources to cremate with dignity.
What’s Included in the Price
At Green Meadows, every cremation service includes:
- Individual private cremation — your pet is never cremated alongside other animals
- Return of ashes — carefully wrapped and placed in a biodegradable scatter urn
- Use of our Send-off Hall — a quiet space for a short memorial before the service, at no extra charge
There are no hidden fees. What you see on our pricing page is what you pay.
Why We Only Offer Individual Cremation
Some providers offer communal cremation at a lower price point — where multiple pets are cremated together and ashes are not returned, or returned mixed.
We made a deliberate decision not to offer this. When you entrust your beloved companion to us, we believe you deserve to know — with complete certainty — that the ashes you bring home are theirs and theirs alone.
For many Negros families, this peace of mind matters more than the price difference.
Is Pet Cremation Worth It?
We understand that cost is a real consideration, especially when grief is already weighing heavily. Here’s what families in Bacolod and nearby provinces often tell us after the service:
“I didn’t know where else to turn, and they made everything easier.”
“Knowing he was treated with dignity gave us so much comfort.”
Cremation also makes practical sense in our region. Urban burials in rented homes or apartments risk being disturbed by strays or future construction. For families without land, or those who may move in the future, cremation offers permanence — you can take your pet’s ashes with you, wherever life leads.
